From the first day onwards I felt very well taken care of by Miss Akolekar. Miss Akolekar did my initial examination after a breast cancer concern was raised by my GP. She arranged for all the relevant tests and scans required at that stage. After the diagnosis breast cancer was confirmed, Miss Akolekar had to tell me the news. She did this in a very caring and thoughtful way. After I had digested the first shock, she explained the circumstances in a very detailed but easy to understand way and also explained all the options available. This helped me a lot to take the fear away from my mind and focus on the solution with a positive outlook. Miss Akolekar did a great job with my surgery and the required aftercare. Miss Akolekar accompanied me the entire way and is always easy to approach for me, to help me with any concerns and questions. I would like to say thank you to Miss Akolekar and her team for all the amazing support on my breast cancer journey so far. Now that the initial cancer has been removed, I'm looking forward to continue the way for the next 5 years. I can highly recommend Miss Akolekar.

Miss Akolekar carried out a mastectomy on me in the summer of this year. The level of care she provided was exceptional. In what is a very busy clinic, she never once rushed my appointments. She has great empathy and helped me and my family make very difficult decisions by providing very detailed analysis in a caring and compassionate manner. I have been amazed by the neatness of my surgical scar and this is testimony to her great skill. She is supported by an amazing team, and anyone would be lucky to be cared for by Miss Akolekar. I would recommend her unreservedly.
